Does this work with my package?
We work with Exact Online, Moneybird, Twinfield, AFAS and NMBRS today. New packages are added weekly. Don't see yours? Tell us — we add on request.
How long does a migration take?
A simple migration between two bookkeeping packages: 1-2 weeks. A complex migration with multiple administrations or an ERP: 4-8 weeks. We tell you upfront which it is.
What happens to my running subscription with the old vendor?
It stays yours. We don't touch anything without your say-so. When you're done with the migration or archive, we hand you a cancellation template and a checklist — but you do the cancelling yourself.
What if my vendor stalls on delivering data?
It happens. We have standard playbooks for it — usually a well-substantiated request is enough; sometimes we escalate. Under the European Data Act, vendors have been required to cooperate since September 2025; we know how to use that.
Can my accountant get access?
Yes. You can create a separate read-only login for your bookkeeper or accountant. Standard from the Growth plan up.
Where is my data stored?
In Europe, on infrastructure in the Netherlands and Germany. Encrypted at rest, encrypted in transit, audit log on every action. No US cloud, no training on your data, no third-party access.
What if I want to leave Afiant later?
We hand over your full archive in a format you can use elsewhere. We do for ourselves what we do for others.
Is this legal advice?
No. We do technical work — extraction, storage, migration, search. For actual legal disputes, we refer you to a lawyer or the supervisory authority.
